COVID-19

We are currently receiving a high number of phone calls. If you are unable to reach us, please leave a message if you are able to or call again. If your call is not urgent, we have more staff available to receive calls Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 3 to 5:30.

If your pet has an emergency, please call Veterinary Emergency Service at (608)222-2455.

At this time, we are seeing pets for all services. We are still offering curbside appointments, but have also opened up our clinic for in-person appointments. Due to COVID-19, our in-person appointments are not how they used to be so please read on to learn about our appointment options and the steps we're taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Curbside Appointments

During a curbside appointment, you wait outside while we see your pet in our clinic. Please note: This is not a drop-off appointment. Please stay for the duration of your pet's appointment. Due to the high volume of calls we are currently receiving, you do not need to call to check-in for your pet's appointment. We will come out to get your pet as soon as we are ready to see them. If your pet is being seen by Dr. Miller for an exam, she will call you to discuss her exam findings and any concerns or questions you have during your pet's appointment. At the end of your pet's appointment, we will call you again to discuss payment. We are accepting cards over the phone or checks which we will collect when we bring your pet back to you. For curbside appointments, we ask all pets to wear a collar or harness that fits properly or be in a secure carrier. We do not want any pets loose on Monona Drive.

In-person Appointments

All clients entering our clinic must wear a mask or face covering that covers their nose and mouth. Due to PPE shortages, we are unable to provide masks at this time. We are also limiting the number of people in our clinic. No more than 2 people may accompany your pet for their appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, please stay outside. Due to the high volume of calls we are currently receiving, you do not need to call to check-in for your pet's appointment. We will come out to get you and your pet as soon as we are ready to see them. If your pet is being seen by Dr. Miller for an exam, we will bring you directly to our exam room. If you are here for any other appointment, we will borrow your pet while you sit in our waiting room.

Drop-off Pet Appointments

If you would like to drop-off your pet for their appointment and pick them up later in the day, we are happy to do that. Please note: Since your pet is staying with us for longer than the regular duration of an appointment, there is a hospitalization charge. Additionally, we have limited space for hospitalized pets so please let us know you would like to drop-off your pet when you're scheduling your appointment.

Drop-off or Pick-up Items (Medications, Food, & Lab Samples)

Please call ahead to schedule an appointment to drop-off or pick-up items. We are happy to drop-off or pick-up items from your car. You can also come in if you're wearing a mask.

Accepted Payments

We ask that clients pay by check or card (Master Card, Visa, Discover, or American Express). We are not accepting cash at this time.

What other measures have we taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

    • All of our staff are wearing masks and washing their hands between each appointment if not more frequently. All clients entering our building must also wear a mask.
    • We have installed a plexiglass shield on our reception desk.
    • We clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces more often. Our exam room is cleaned and disinfected between each appointment.

Please note that as the situation changes with COVID-19, so might our clinic hours and policies. Updates will be posted here or you can call us at (608)222-9342 with any questions. Thank you!
