Welcome to Monona Veterinary Clinic where your concerns are our concerns! Since its origins in the 1970's, Monona Veterinary Clinic has successfully cared for generations of our neighborhood pets.
We offer services for sick or injured pets, annual wellness and senior pet exams, surgical care, USDA category II accreditation for interstate and international health certificates, allergy testing and treatment, and more. We take pride in our thorough dental cleanings with before and after photos!
Rachel Miller, DVM
Dr. Miller has been our staff veterinarian since 2004. She graduated from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine realizing her life-long dream of helping people and their pets. She has over 20 years of experience and has also been awarded Best Veterinarian of Monona over 10 times!
Dr. Miller understands that each case is unique. She offers her clients a variety of diagnostic and treatment options to find one that works best for each individual patient. Her goal during every appointment is to provide her clients with all the information they need to make informed decisions concerning their pets' health.
In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her family, horses, and cats. She also enjoys growing orchids.
Phoebe
Phoebe has been with us since 2009. She previously spent her time working at the reception desk and assisting Dr. Miller with patients, but now focuses on work behind the scenes here at Monona Veterinary Clinic.
Phoebe has earned the Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional Certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP).
In her free time, she loves playing with her cats: Mister Pistachio, Pachinko, Disco Bob, Kumquat, and Babadook. She also loves exploring the outdoors while walking Disco Bob or riding horseback.
Stephen, CVT
Stephen graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at Madison Area Technical College in 2016 and passed his certification exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician later that year.
In his free time he enjoys reading, spending time with his three cats, and hanging out with his friends.
Hannah
Hannah joined our team as a veterinary assistant. However, she is well on her way to becoming a veterinary technician. She is currently enrolled in a veterinary technician program at a local college.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys hanging out with her cats and friends.
