Certified VeTerinary Technician

We are looking for a certified veterinary technician to join our team! We offer flexible hours. It's up to you whether you would like to be full-time or part-time.

The ideal candidate is someone who can work in a small team as well as on their own. They should be a critical thinker who is detail-oriented and a self-starter. Candidates must be reliable. We have a small team and rely on each team member to come in when they are scheduled.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting our DVM and CVT with appointments, surgery assistance, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, client education, and customer service. Please note this position also includes receptionist duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and payment processing.

Benefits for full-time veterinary technicians include uniform allowance, 6 paid holidays per year, paid time off, paid CE, and employee discounts. Starting wage is based on skill level and licensing status.

Veterinary Receptionist

Monona Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team!

At Monona Veterinary Clinic, receptionists have the most important position because they're the first person current and potential clients meet. Receptionists should be confident, compassionate, and reliable. They should also be familiar with vaccine protocols as well as common lab tests, procedures, illnesses, and pet behaviors. As a receptionist, you should be able to answer common questions as well as identify possible emergency situations.

Your main duties will include answering phones, scheduling appointments and surgeries, checking patients in and out, managing paper medical records, and processing payments.

The shifts we are ideally trying to fill include Monday through Friday 9-1 PM and/or Tuesday and Thursday 3 to 7 PM.

Experience with Cornerstone is a plus!
